A real estate professional for more than 25 years and currently a broker associate for Watson Realty Corp./Orange Park Oakleaf office. Rudy Pabustan is known for integrity, diplomacy, and sincerity in all his dealings. During his tenure in the real estate business, he has first and foremost strived to be someone in whom his clientele and colleagues can put their trust and faith. Every transaction, he believes, is always about his customer. “You are the driver, I am the passenger who’s there to guide, educate, and provide the best service possible.” The key to Rudy’s success has also been the result of his patience, demeanor, and dedicated work ethics. He knows how to listen, is generous in offering information, and more importantly, knows when to stop talking. His main intention is to understand his client’s needs and build a relationship that will last over the course of time. When orchestrating deals for his buyers and sellers, Rudy is assertive and effective without being too aggressive. While he is a strong negotiator and advocate for his clients, he is just as much a compassionate, friendly, humorous agent who eases a process that can often be quite stressful.
Rudy retired from the United States Navy in 2003 after 21 years of honorable service. He has lived in Northeast Florida, specifically in Jacksonville and Orange Park, for over three decades. He is married to his wife, Abby, and has lived in The Oaks at Oakleaf Plantation since 2005. They have a grown son, Erik, who lives on the Southside of Jacksonville.
In his free time, Rudy loves to play golf, cruise, workout, and cook. He has a degree in culinary management.
